Drew's Recording Studio

Hello I am Drew,

I provide outstanding audio recording mixing, and mastering at a very tempting price for a versatile clientele. I have an excelent vocal sound every time. I have superb mixing skills that match the industry standard. I get the mix done right efficiently and proficiently. I do not spend all day trying to find that sound, I know what to do to get that industry sounding mix and I do it without playing games. I can also let you have controll of all of the creative decisions and I take care of the must-do stuff. I also don't charge extra for mastering after the mix, I just get it done in a blink while the studio clock runs at my regular rate. That is practically complimentary industry standard mastering. I can also mix and master work from other studios. I don't work miracles, It has to already sound good and be recorded right, without pops, air, cracks, or distortion.

I have a long list of rap/hip-hop repeat customers who spread word of mouth to other new regulars, and new people from my various advertising methods. Almost everybody who starts working here continues to finish their album here. Some re-do all of their work from the other studios here because after one visit they trust me to get it right the first time and in half the time of the other studios. I have some sort of god given talent for recording and mixing and playing music that puts my productions right up with the newest mainstream releases.

I have two 6 X 9 isolation booths and a 13 X 18 room to record and mic drums and so on.. I have the legendary Neumann U87 Microphone, and the industry favorite Avalon Vt737sp Microphone Preamp. I also have a small arsenal of instruments. I have 2 Acoustic guitars, a '95 Fender American Standard Stratocaster, a '60s gibson Falcon Tube combo amp, a '94 American Standard Fender P-Bass with "thru-body stringing" like a Telecaster, a late model Fender 73 Key Suitcase Rhodes with it's own speaker and amp with 4 10" speakers in a double sided stereo cabinet. I also have a 5 piece Premier Drum kit with modified tom-mount hardware for less shell damping.

Listen to a few examples below. Most of these recordings have live instruments and some of it has myself on drums...
